Richard Gray
Richard Gray has directed four feature films, two feature-length documentaries for FOX, a comedy series pilot for The Movie Network, and an eight-part reality / drama series for FOX. Richard is a graduate of The Victorian College of the Arts School of Film and Television (AUS).
In 2013 Richard and his team completed filming US crime thriller, THE LOOKALIKE. Set in New Orleans, THE LOOKALIKE stars Justin Long, John Corbett, Luis Guzman, Gina Gershon, Jerry O’Connell, Scottie Thompson, and Gillian Jacobs. THE LOOKALIKE has been signed to Arclight Films and is set for release Fall 2013.
Prior to THE LOOKALIKE, 2010/11 saw the theatrical release of Richard’s debut feature film SUMMER CODA, starring Rachael Taylor (Transformers), Alex Dimitriades (Head on) and 2011 & 2013 Academy Award nominee Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook, Animal Kingdom). SUMMER CODA was selected for the Melbourne, Palm Springs and Seattle International Film Festivals.
Richard’s debut U.S. feature MINE GAMES, a supernatural thriller that he co- wrote, stars Joseph Cross (Lincoln), Rafi Gavron (Breaking And Entering), Julianna Guill (Crazy, Stupid, Love.) and Briana Evigan (Step Up 2). MINE GAMES was selected for the Melbourne and Aruba International Film Festival.
In 2012 Richard directed BLINDER, a $5M Australian drama starring Jack Thompson (The Great Gatsby), Oliver Ackland (The Proposition), and Josh Helman (Mad Max, X-Men)

 

Michele Gray
Michele is a writer and producer from Melbourne, Australia, currently based in Los Angeles. Her most recent feature film, THE LOOKALIKE (2013), which she wrote and produced, stars Justin Long, John Corbett, and Luis Guzman (in post-production). Michele has worked as a producer, writer, and script editor on numerous feature films and scripts including Richard Gray’s BLINDER (2013), MINE GAMES (2012) and SUMMER CODA (2010), and Greg McLean’s Playing Jack and Rogue (script editor), as well as developing her own romantic comedy/drama, SOMEONE LIKE ME, funded by Film Victoria’s script development program. Some of her TV work includes two feature length documentaries the SEA TO THE SKY GAMES (FOXTEL) and FISH OUT OF WATER (FOX 8), eight episodes of the THE PHONE (FOX 8), and a funded comedy pilot for the Movie Network, SO NOW YOU’RE FAMOUS, starring Pia Miranda and Dylan Lewis. Michele has had numerous stage plays produced at La Mama, The ATYP and for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. She just completed her first commercial fiction manuscript, FROM LITTLE THINGS.
